The Florida Democratic Party Sucks

In Florida, the Republicans control Both Houses, the Governorship, and the majority of state appointments. Statistically, this does not make sense, because there are more Democrats registered on the voting polls, which gives the party the advantage in every election. But somehow the Republicans continue to win, and it would appear that the wrong Democratic leadership is in positions of power. here

Under the leadership of the Florida Democratic Chairperson Allison Tant, the Democrats have lost the Governorship twice. For almost two decades the Florida Democrats have delivered constant electoral defeats, and the same group is now making recommendations based on what they keep doing wrong. Fire Tant and hire Susan Smith!

HOW TO FIX THE FLORIDA DEMOCRATIC PARTY

Fire Allison Tant and hire
Susan Smith
Democrats want to see real Democrats running for office. Mmobilize the base. The voters are there, the task is to give them a reason to vote. When you put up lifelong Republicans who can’t be differentiated from Democrats, there’s no reason for Democratic voters to vote.

Rick Scott is the poster child for corrupt government. And yet we didn’t beat him.we couldn’t beat him because we didn’t put up a true blue candidate (Nan Rich) who could challenge him on his policies. Instead, we put up a lifelong Republican (Charlie Crist) who’d just changed parties. Once you have your dedicated Democrat voting, they will vote for ALL the Democrats all the way down the ballot.
Put up corporate Democrats all you want. Keep giving us lifelong Republicans to vote for. We’ll keep rejecting them. Let us know when you’re ready to win some elections with some real true blue Democrats and we’ll be right there behind you.
Thank you Brook Hines and The Florida Squeeze for this awesome piece.

Patrick Murphy = You will lose, the base will not work or vote for him.
 I know we won't. YCS

Gov. Dean Do Something About Allison Tant

Florida Democratic Party Chair Allison Tant and her allies want you to forget all about those losses nine days ago and focus on the leadership race for the Democratic House Caucus. But is this really a true concern, or a diversion to keep the attention off of the failures of the Florida Democratic Party? here

The Florida Democratic Party Sucks

Despite an electorate split down the middle that voted for Barack Obama for president twice, half of Florida's All-Republican state Cabinet is cruising toward re-election with only token Democratic resistance. here
Gov. Dean please help us!

Allison Tant Must Go

With only six months left until the general election,
Allison Tant
is having a hard time recruiting candidates,
calling into question her ability to lead
Florida Democrats.
here
The Florida Democratic Party chairwoman assumed that position in January 2013, promising to “out-raise, out-organize, and outwork the GOP” across Florida. But it simply hasn’t happened.

Sad State Of Florida Dems

They had a great candidate
 Michael Hussey at Pushing Rope
created a Facebook group
looking to stop former state CFO Alex Sink from running
for statewide office in the future......more
Right now that sounds like a great idea and someone please do something about
Allison Tant and Debbie Wasserman Schultz
They are lost in the wilderness. If you want to win in November and the future
you need better tools.

Sad State Of The Florida Democratic Party

Less than a year until the general elections, it appears the Florida Senate will feature more of the same after November 2014. Not a single senator faces term limits in 2014 and only one of the current incumbents has drawn a major challenger. With Republicans controlling the Senate, it appears Democrats will be hard-pressed to flip the chamber next year. So far, most Republican incumbents in the Senate are cruising to victory in 2014 with next to no Democratic opposition......more
Why isn't Allison Tant doing her job, why isn't Debbie Wasserman Schultz doing hers?

Florida Democrats' Infighting Escalates

Chairwoman Allison Tant fired two high-ranking staff members late Thursday, the same day it was reported she discovered the existence of a fundraising committee that could be controlled only by incoming House Minority leader, former Republican Darryl (Bong) Rouson, D-St. Petersburg. Gone are Jeff Ryan and Chris Mitchell, the party's chief staffers behind financing and strategy of House races. The pair helped set up the committee with Rouson without Tant's consent. Many Florida Republicans tweeted in glee over the backbiting. On the quality of Rouson's leadership, Republican strategist Rick Wilson tweeted, "That reminds me I need to send him a check."......more>

The Florida Civility Project

Off their website:
The Republican Party of Florida invites all Floridians to join together and work toward common sense solutions through friendly debate and discussion, while avoiding negative attacks and the politics of personal destruction.
On August 22:
The Republican Party of Florida has fired off a bunch of releases recently referring to Democratic Chairwoman Allison Tant as TANT RANT. Yesterday, the state GOP sent releases referring to Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Florida as "Debbie Dunce."
