As if Hillary Clinton wasn't enough, corporate lobbyists are now teaming up to try to stop Nina Turner's campaign for the Ohio 11th congressional seat. Ana Kasparian discusses on The Young Turks.

Andrew Gillum Throws Progressives Under The Bus
Gillum was able to gain lots of popularity in the primaries, thanks to progressives and Bernie Sanders. After changing campaign manager his popularity fell in a matter of hours thanks to Hillary Clinton and Debbie Wasserman Schultz. HERE
---
It may still surprise some, but Andrew Gillum did not support Bernie in the 2016 Primaries. He endorsed Hillary Clinton for the 2016 presidential primaries, campaigned for her in South Carolina and even gave a speech during her nomination at the Wells Fargo center in Philadelphia. Gillum was firmly on the wrong side of history when progressives needed all the support they could get.
---
If he loses, you can blame this guy.
Brandon Davis
He was Chief of Staff of the DNC during the 2016 DNC debacle and was a very a close Hillary Clinton ally.
---
I will no longer be supporting the mayor on this blog!
Update: My apologies. Mr. Edelson is correct,
the post has been updated!

Florida DINOS Back Hillary over Bernie
Alex Sink and Other Conservative Florida Democrats Who Have Been Losing Statewide Races for Years Back Hillary over Bernie. here
Their leader had this to say:
"It's okay to be right, but it's more important to win. And if you don't win, you can't govern. When all is said and done — certainly in Florida — Hillary has a much, much better chance of prevailing than Sen. Sanders." Bob Buckhorn

Patrick Murphy Throws Hillary To The Wolves
On May 8, 2014, the Republicans
rammed through a resolution to establish the Select Committee on the Events
Surrounding the 2012 Terrorist Attack in Benghazi, a committee specifically
designed as a witch hunt to drag Hillary Clinton through the mud and sully her
name before the 2016 presidential election. Every single Republican voted
YES (225 of them) and 186 Democrats voted NO. Seven of the worst Democrats
in the House-- the ones who consistently vote for Boehner's agenda day in and
day out-- crossed the aisle and voted with the Republicans. Patrick Murphy was one of them. here
BTW, He is coming to Tampa to take our money. Bob Buckhorn,
Jim Davis and Alex Sink are hosting.

Floridians Not Big On Bush, Rubio White House Bids
Floridians aren't very excited about the prospect of either Jeb Bush or
Marco Rubio running for President, and Hillary Clinton leads the entire field of potential
GOP candidates in the state. here
Only 37% of Florida voters think Jeb Bush should run for President, to 52% who say they think he shouldn't. The numbers for Marco Rubio on that front are almost identical- 35% say he should run to 51% who believe he should sit it out. The lack of enthusiasm for either Bush or Rubio making a White House bid is at least partially a function of their not being terribly popular. 45% of voters approve of the job Rubio is doing as a Senator to 40% who disapprove. Bush's favorability numbers are similar with 45% giving him good marks to 42% with a negative opinion.

Dean/Warren 2016
Democracy for America (DFA), a progressive
group that grew out of former Vermont governor Howard Dean’s unsuccessful
presidential campaign, just released an unscientific survey of their roughly one
million members asking for their preferences in a hypothetical race for the
Democratic nomination in two years. Elizabeth Warren, the former Harvard Law professor and consumer advocate was the clear
favorite, garnering 42 percent of the respondents, while Clinton trailed a
distant third with only 23 percent. We voted for Howard Dean. here
