Why Did They Have To Kill The Gator?

Faculty and staff of Steward Middle School in Tampa, Florida, were surprised Monday morning by a seven-foot alligator that had wandered into the building over the weekend.

along with trappers caught the animal, removed it and euthanized it......here

Spill Drifting Toward Florida's West Coast



West Florida Continental Shelf forecast of surface trajectories for Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill. An arm of the oil slick appears to have exited the Loop Current and is drifting eastward aided by onshore winds. By June 3, oil is predicted to be 120 miles off the coast of Tampa Bay and Florida's west coast.
