This picnic is for pleasant people like you, with disparate views on peace and justice, willing to express the right to free speech in an American Way. Flags will be displayed with thought provoking messages sure to invite discussion in a casual, friendly atmosphere reflecting the true meaning of this Independence Day. info
Now, therefore, I, Bob Buckhorn,…, do hereby proclaim July 4, 2011 as ‘Independence From Oil Day’…and encourage all residents to try bicycling and walking as a form of transportation that protects the environment and in acknowledging all those involved in this campaign for their commitment.”
An out of town band's shitty time at The Pegasus Lounge Now look... I'm not usually one to judge something based entirely on one experience, but with that said, I'm pretty sure Tampa is a shithole. Now if you're from Tampa or you like Tampa or you have family from Tampa, please don't be offended. I'm sure there are good people and good places in Tampa, just like with any place in the world. But the Tampa we saw yesterday was just a rundown desperate shithole with shitty people and shitty places. But maybe I'm getting ahead of myself. Let's start from the beginning. more
Pushing Rope is saying Peter Schorsch of Saint Petersblog was subpoenaed by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement over a comment (Wish someone would put a bullet in the fuckers face already!) someone left on his blog. He asked Schorsch some questions. here The Communications Decency Act of 1996 makes clear that no internet service provider or web site owner is responsible for someone else's speech. The FDLE care about this?
So U.S. Magistrate Judge Thomas Wilson appointed private defense lawyer Grady Irvin Jr. to defend White. Irvin was already White's attorney, though now taxpayers will pay him. here This guy reminds me of Joe Kotvas.
Chicken with Black Bean Sauce It is so nice to eat Chinese-Style Chinese food instead of that NY-Style crap all over town. $9.95.....Yummy House, 2620 E. Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa. Eat Local! Yummy
Dear Readers: The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has alerted me to a comment which was published two days ago on SaintPetersblog.com. I am not going to give credence to the comment by re-posting it, but it included a violent threat against Governor Rick Scott. I have more than willingly supplied the FDLE with the I.P. address of the commentor.
As much as I may disagree with the politics and policies of Governor Scott, the man is a public servant and deserves a certain modicum of respect. If you don’t respect the man, then respect the office.
Accordingly, please refrain from making threats, of any kind, to not only Governor Scott, but to any politician. I cannot monitor every comment that is made on this site, so if this becomes a problem, I will have to modify or disable the commenting system, which takes away from the interactive nature of SaintPetersblog.com.
