One of our greatest committed young activist told right wing candidate for governor Gwen Graham what most of us are thinking.
-----------
"So basically I told gubernatorial candidate and FL Democratic Party keynote speaker at tonight's fundraiser Gwen Graham that she's not progressive enough, that her speech was uninspiring, and that I'm worried that she's going to hand-deliver Florida another Republican Governor." here

FDOT Citizens Transportation Academy: Not A Joke

No joke, for real. They are so desperate they are now trying to cram their corporate vision of transportation down our throats at taxpayers expense. They want to feed us their corporate propaganda and they want us to like it. here

They want to spend billions on something we don't WANT but can't pay for a decent image of our city's skyline. Or is this their way of showing us what our future looks like after they get done with us.

Desperate Rick Baker Exploits Irma

With his chances of becoming St. Petersburg’s next mayor dissipating as rapidly as the ravaging winds of Hurricane Irma, Rick Baker exploited one of the worst natural disasters in the nation’s history to resuscitate his failing campaign. here
-------------
Tampa Bay Times, Baker’s mouthpiece, printed the candidate’s press release verbatim without fact checking.  So did a local play-for-pay blog and the right wing Sunshine State News.

Dezeray Lyn Was Wrong About Bob Buckhorn

For those who judged Tampa mayor Bob Buckhorn to be a total asshole after having 7 people arrested for feeding the homeless... We were wrong.
He is an *even bigger* asshole than we thought.

Bob Buckhorn has been all over local media- as a catastrophic storm heads right for us, warning "looters" that he is going to have Tampa police attack and arrest them for disallowing corporations profit from a disaster by taking things they need to survive in this rabid, disgusting and horrendous capititalist system that keeps most of us in poverty while we create the wealth for the wealthy.

Sorry we misjudged you Bob.

Donna Davis Lowes Adventure

"At Lowe's, the line is through the store just to look for ply wood. My girl and I found a bunch of wood on a top shelf. Nobody could reach it so with the help of another family, we were able to stand on the second shelf and take wood down, distributing to everyone in line. Everyone there worked together to distribute to families as needed and the line dissipated.

Many folks stayed to help carry wood to the line and load it onto carts to pay. Lowe's called the cops on us. We had to leave the store before they found us. I'm just hoping the families we gave the wood to were able to leave with theirs as we could not." Donna L. Davis
