The Democratic Progressive Caucus of Florida is proud to announce its endorsement of Senator Bernie Sanders in the 2020 presidential race. Sanders earned the endorsement with a super-majority (>66%) vote of the membership.

"It's increasingly clear that one candidate above all others is winning the hearts and minds of progressives, not just in Florida, but throughout America. By speaking truth to power and consistently setting ambitious policy goals that would benefit everyday working people, Bernie Sanders has inspired our members to take action -- empowering many to get politically involved for the first time.
Bernie's campaign focuses on issues that our membership holds dear , not least of which include addressing the consolidation of power in the ultra-wealthy, healthcare as a human right, institutional racism, and the unbalanced power of money in politics. And he's done so in a way that explains what we intrinsically know -- that real change only comes when we correct these structural issues.
With today's endorsement, the DPCF is again joining Bernie's political revolution to win the presidency and elect progressive candidates in races throughout Florida.
