Charlie Crist's Daytona Car

A campaign gift of a NASCAR sponsorship for the nationally televised Coke Zero 400 was called off not because the rival Florida GOP complained, but because the registered owner of the race car in question, record producer
Mike Curb, used to be a Republican lieutenant governor of California and asked that the Democrat's decals not appear. here

Charlie Crist: End the trade embargo against Cuba

"If you really care about people on the island, we need to get rid of the embargo and
Let freedom reign,"
When Charlie Crist went to Miami's Little Havana recently, the Democratic candidate for governor stood before a crowd and said what few politicians have in decades of scrounging for votes in the
Cuban-American neighborhood:
End the trade embargo
against Cuba
Florida Dems sense an opening with newer Cuban arrivals and
Second-generation Cuban-Americans
who favor resuming diplomatic relations with
 the communist island.
In a sign of just how much the climate has shifted,
Hillary who backed trade limits when she ran for
president in 2008,
is now calling for the embargo to be lifted. Good for her.
She described it as "
Castro's best friend"here

Not Getting Screwed

Florida Democrats are united behind a common goal Send Rick Scott packing.
Crist is being opposed by Senator
Nan Rich.
She was a good Senator.
But now she is backed by Republicans.
The RPOF Rick Scott team has
propped up Rich.
She has stubbornly compromised her legacy by running. She will be remembered as a spoiler. Someone whose sole purpose was to attack a fellow Democrat. Progressives knowing this have fled Senator Rich's camp
They have joined Governor Crist.
Rich has also been helped by outside forces. Republican funded outside sources. The racist group Progressive Choice. This group includes Democrats.
Dems disloyal to the party.
 Our findings are explosive.
The depth and level of involvement of Republicans is staggering. Some Democrats close to Senator Rich have also been involved.
We look forward to reading it. We love Rich, support her and want a debate.
She has not compromised anything.
We are not GOP!

NOT GETTING SQUEEZED

The Florida Un-Democratic Party

Used their annual fundraising dinner to bash Gov. Rick Scott — but not to showcase the candidates that hope to replace him. Former Gov. Charlie Crist and former Senate Democratic Leader Nan Rich — weren’t allowed to address the more than 1,500 party activists who will be asked to help the eventually nominee defeat the governor. here

The Awesome Wendy Davis In The Conch Republic

"I shelled out a hundred bucks just to be able to meet her, shake her hand and talk to her for a second," said Vicki Roush, 60, a Florida wine shop manager who's never lived in Texas but attended a Davis fundraiser in Key West. She said she cried while watching Davis' filibuster online last summer. "All the girls I know that were there were beside themselves."

Rick Scott Is Afraid Of Charlie Crist Who Is Afraid Of Nan Rich

Charlie Crist's Liberty City Love-Fest

He was adored by the crowds,
“He knows where he came from
and he will help the people,”
said Renita Holmes, a community activist. “As you can see,
the black community welcomes him back.”
So many supporters,
came to welcome Crist that organizers had to move
his welcoming speech outdoors.
Why? Because the Miami-Dade GOP, like the Florida and national party, has really no foothold in any black community in the county or state. Of Miami-Dade's 362,000 registered Republicans, only 1.9 percent is African American. That's compared to 19 percent of the overall voter rolls
and 36 percent of the registered Democrats,
who outnumber registered Republicans by nearly 188,000.
Relatively speaking, the GOP is doomed

GOP LITE: Bob Buckhorn

Is not happy with the prospect of Florida Democrats
nominating Charlie Crist for governor.
On Bay News 9, Buckhorn made it clear that he's
keeping his distance from Crist.
Will he ultimately endorse the Democratic nominee?
"I don't know," he said.
Keep in mind that Buckhorn could be a Democratic contender for governor in 2018. He would have a window if Scott wins a second term, but probably not if Democratic Gov. Crist
were running for re-election.......more>
Is he cheering for the other side for his own personal interests?
