To run his campaign, Greco, a Democrat(?) who has supported Republicans, including Jeb Bush and George W. Bush, has also enlisted entrenched Republicans, presumably to siphon potential votes from Rose Ferlita, the only Republican in the nonpartisan race.
They include former state Rep. Trey Travesia, a conservative known for his anti-abortion stance, and Cameron Ross, who served as a campaign manager for Mike Prendergast, who lost a bid to unseat U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor, D-Tampa, in the Nov. 2 elections. Greg Truax, a Tampa-based Republican activist who worked on former Gov.
