Back on October 13, 2009 Hillsborough County commissioners Al Higginbotham, Mark Sharpe, Ken Hagan and Kevin White pressured by residents of East Lake Park rejected plans for a tent city in the eastern part of the county. "Hillsborough Cares" would have been modeled after Pinellas Hope,
a Catholic Charities-sponsored tent city near Pinellas Park......here
