Right Wing Venezuela In Tampa
Florida Man Shoots Cop, Invokes Stand Your Ground!
If there’s two things Florida residents know to fear, it’s anyone with a badge, a gun or both. These days, stories of Florida police kidnapping, raping, murdering or otherwise brutalizing unarmed people are so commonplace that “fleeing and eluding” officers has become less of a crime and more an act of self-preservation......more
Bookies in Tampa are now making odds on how long it will be before the state legislature either drops SYG, or modifies it so it doesn’t apply to police officers. Current odds are 26-to-1 on the latter by the end of the month, and 26,000-to-1 on the former through eternity.
Florida GOP Wants To Wipe Out Small Town
The Florida state government is so embarrassed by the
City of Hampton
and it takes a lot to embarrass those folks up in Tallahassee
it wants to wipe the small town off the map.
Drug dealing Mayor, cops sitting along 301 in lawn chairs pointing radar guns at passing cars, and an estimated $1 million missing from the town’s coffers.

Moral Monday Rally At Florida State Capitol
More than 200 people from Jacksonville, Orlando and Miami met at the steps of The Old Capitol in Tallahassee for Florida’s first Moral Monday rally, March 3. The rally was modeled after the giant Moral Monday rallies in North Carolina. Moral Mondays are a response to the North Carolina General Assembly’s extreme right-wing attacks on working people, women, immigrants and African Americans. Facing the Florida legislature's equally extreme right-wing politicians and Republican Governor Rick Scott, protesters demanded a state government committed to justice for working
and oppressed people.......more>
