Tampa's Forgotten Hoods
"Compared to other communities in Hillsborough County, District 3 has made MINIMAL gains because of COMPLACENCY. We need to elect a leader who is willing to commit time and energy to advocate for this District. We've become accepting to mediocrity. As your next District 3 Commissioner, we will not sit on the sidelines and watch other Districts thrive while ours is ignored. We deserve better and I WILL fight for it!" Sky U. White

In lefty circles, U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida has become the subject of general disdain and social-media scorn for his cruelty toward immigrants, his political theatrics, and his toadying loyalty to President Donald Trump. So it's no wonder the hashtag #MattGaetzIsATool resurfaces again HERE

This is round two of Ybor City Stogie endorsements! This will cover a couple local candidates from the Tampa Bay Area. They are both Stogie approved Jessicas!
Jessica Harrington is running for Florida House District 64 in the Pinellas/Hillsborough area. Jessica is a school teacher who will fight tooth and nail to protect and empower public education in Tallahassee. We need her there to be a public education warrior! Unfortunately, the incumbent is corrupt, and not prepared to defend needed programs in Florida. The state legislature in Florida needs a swift change in order to best serve the people. Jessica is the best person to help lead the charge in getting more teachers elected to serve the people. I support her campaign!
Jessica Vaughn is running for Hillsborough County School Board District 3 in North Hillsborough County. She is a proven progressive who founded the Progressive Caucus of Tampa Bay. She is a substitute teacher who will protect public education at a time when public education is endangered — in large part due to the corrupt makeup of the Florida state legislature and Hillsborough County School Board. We need progressives on the School Board to finally tip the Board’s balance in favor of teachers, students, and parents. Right now, the Board favors privatization, donors, and engaging in petty squabbles. Jessica is bold, and has the best ideology to take on the powers that be in local School Board politics. I support her campaign!
