“They are who we thought they were,” NFL coach Dennis Green famously said, in full meltdown mode. But his words could just as easily apply to President Trump, Elon Musk and the parade of Republicans who have unleashed so much chaos these last few weeks.
If you’re watching Musk gut USAID like it’s a Black Friday sale, or Trump going full Bond villain on Gen. Mark Milley, or appointing white supremacists like he’s assembling an evil Justice League — I get it. I do. But don’t act surprised.

Trump is guarded about the long-term prospects for the truce, even as he takes credit for pressuring Hamas and Israel into the hostage and ceasefire agreement that went into effect the day before he returned to office last month.

His mistakes and poor decisions will multiply by the day and by the time the mid-term elections roll around American voters will be clambering for a reprieve from MAGA governance.
Democrats must seize every opportunity we have to oppose this corrupt, cruel, and stupid regime.
