Hi, I just wanted to let you know that MOSI will be hosting an Arbor Day from Friday to Sunday, April 25-27, 2008.
During the course of the weekend, city officials and local organizations will inform MOSI guests on simple ways to preserve the environment through fun, hands-on activities.
On Saturday and Sunday, guests can plant tree saplings provided by Wild Rose Lawn Care. Guests can also showcase their finest recyclables in the Recycling Parade led by a Plant High School drum line in the Richard T. Bowers Historic Tree Grove. Visitors can win prizes by recycling CDs, DVDs, cellular phones and other small electronics in MOSI’s grand lobby. MOSI’s Arbor Day celebration is FREE with paid admission.
