This wil never stop! With the corrupt Hagan in charge. The Rays just need to go and leave us alone. Try a sucker city, they are a lot of them out there.
Try Vagas, they just built the NFL RAIDERS A BILLION $ playpen.

Even the unfinished "Urban Renewal" projects would have a more positive effect on the area., look at St Pete, the areas around the the field now are semi-open parking lots.

The tampa bay times listed an industrial area that was under consideration for the potential site. If that's no longer true and actual homes are in the new area wouldn't it behoove those home owners to speak out? Maybe someone go to these homes and get these people informed ?

First, my mind is blown by how beautiful these homes and businesses are. My love for Ybor City is endless and this is why.

In response to the first Anonymous comment, I agree that we can't stand for allowing Raybor to happen and I sincerely hope you are following what our city council, county commission and the Tampa Sports Authority are doing. It is vitally important that more citizens face these government bodies at their meetings and force them to hear the voices of the people.

In response to the last anonymous comment, I, personally, don't care where the Rays might want to build a new stadium in Hillsborough. I will always be adamantly opposed to it. I have done a good deal of research into this from the beginning and every independent academic study I have found concerning major league sports venues shows that they rarely have any positive economic impact on the local community and, in many cases, as this would be, present a negative impact and an economic burden to the community.
