White’s determination to stay on the commission (and to seek reelection next year) demonstrates his arrogance, selfishness, and his view that his constituents are too dumb to send him packing. His self-serving nature is bad enough. That he has cost the county nearly a million bucks is what voters should be appalled at.

Local Blogger Alex Pickett At The G20 In Pittsburgh
If you haven’t seen any news reports about the G20 conference in Pittsburgh yet, chances are by the end of the week you will. Since the press are not allowed in the actual G20 conference meetings, I’ve come to Pittsburgh to report on the latter group. For the next four or five days, I’ll follow the protesters, interview some, avoid heavy-handed police tactics and hopefully make sense of it all........here
