White’s determination to stay on the commission (and to seek reelection next year) demonstrates his arrogance, selfishness, and his view that his constituents are too dumb to send him packing. His self-serving nature is bad enough.
If you haven’t seen any news reports about the G20 conference in Pittsburgh yet, chances are by the end of the week you will. Since the press are not allowed in the actual G20 conference meetings, I’ve come to Pittsburgh to report on the latter group. For the next four or five days, I’ll follow the protesters, interview some, avoid heavy-handed police tactics and hopefully make sense of it all........here

A federal judge ruled that Commissioner White and Hillsborough County were jointly liable in the case. What remains unclear is whether White plans to pay any of the settlement.......here
