Ms. Bondi, Lies About Master Tank

I legally fostered and adopted a dying dog who had a serious medical condition that long predated the hurricane," Pam Bondi (Hillsborough County Prosecutor)

"If he had been as close to death as Ms. Bondi claims, he would never have been placed on a transport that would take on a good day over 10 hours to get to the destination," Ceily Trog (Manager of St. Bernard Parish Animal Control)

YaY!!! People got soooo mad at me when I said that all of her cases should be recalled because she had made dishonest statements on the witness stand.

She's a pretty lady (given you like the type I understand) and said to be a smart woman. She had ZERO merit in this case and so chose to set her integrity aside along with others in TampA --- (imagine my surprise) --- once again the BULLIES of tampa against people who have already been victimized. Throw in some nationaly attention and maybe next year we can get the Republican convention, after all.

This is really a great trend, ain't it?

Too bad the Public Defenders' office's bread seems to be buttered on the same side or they and private attorneys could\should be counted on to contact ANY AND EVERY client prosecuted by this dishonest woman and get their clients the exoneration they deserve. There could be people on death row because of her.
Seriously, this needs to be examined.
If she would lie about something so damned trivial but mean-spirited in her desperAtion to keep something that does NOT belong to her imagine what she might do to win a high stakes; high-profile case.

(not to trash the good public defenders on the light side, but yall need to take the trash out, hey?)
And attorneys all across the board in Tampa need to spend less time clubbing and kvetching together and MORE time studying the law and upholding the constitutional rights of their clients....
Hope this comment isn't too long, if so please feel free to edit.

March 13, 2007 - I listened to Pam Bondi commenting last night on Fox news regarding Anna Nicole Smith's 6 month old baby Dannilynn and the paternity suit. It made me furious to listen to say that Howard Stern has no right to that baby...all I could think of was how similar her situation is in that she is holding on to a canine (baby) that belongs to someone else.

The photograph of Bondi walking Master Tank in this article was taken in 2005, not long after he was brought to Florida. Judge for yourself. Death's door?

That dog should go home now. He was never wilfully abandoned and his family wants him back. He should also be reunited with Nila, the other dog belonging to the Coutures with whom he spent every day prior to Katrina. Nila was adopted out to a second Florida family, although it was known these two dogs were a bonded pair. It's shameful.

BTW This is the link to the original photo of Pam Bondi and Master Tank http://digitallight.blogspot.com/
2005_09_01_archive.html Noah's Ark

Caption: 20050923 - Prosecutor Pam Bondi at home in Hyde Park on Friday with her new St. Bernard dog, Noah, adopted yesterday after he was rescued from St. Bernard's Parish in Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina. (Brian Cassella / St. Petersburg Times photographer)

Time Line: The dogs arrived at the Florida Pinellas Humane Society on Sep 21, 2005. Pam Bondi "adopted" Master Tank on Sep 22 - the day before this photo was taken Sep 23, 2005 after she had to have her own St. Bernard, Donovan put to sleep due to cancer on Sep 13, 2005.

The caption on the photo actually says ADOPTED. Who would like to wager that Pam Bondi had EVERY intention of keeping the dog from DAY ONE - AND absolutely NO intention of EVER giving Master Tank up should HIS REAL FAMILY come forward?? Meanwhile his lifelong best friend, Nila was apparently left in the shelter until Rhonda Rineker "adopted" her on Oct 28, 2005 because Bondi ONLY wanted a St. Bernard!! :(

I saw that photo with a tshirt on Master Tank which said "I'm with stupid" What a snicker. Unforunately I can't find the link.

Pam Bondi needs to get a shrink and get a new perspective on life instead of clinging to the past and the memory of her dead dog by deluding herself into believing that Master Tank was a gift sent by God to ease her feelings of helplessness and inadequacy because she couldn't save her Donovan from dying of cancer and her having to have him PTS just 9 days before she took Master Tank home!!! The crazy woman definitely needs divine intervention.

May 22, 2007 - Master Tank and Nila will be going HOME today with their family and rightful owners. Pam Bondi managed to forego a very public trial that was to begin in the near future by agreeing to a "secret" settlement...the upshot of which is that the Coutures will be having their family finally back together after much unnecessary stress and financial loss caused by Ms. Bondi (prosecutor/Fox news commentator/adopter of Master Tank). The other adopter of Nila in this story as tried to remain low profile throughout and she also has given Nila back to the family. I believe Ms. Bondi would have lost her case at trial and it would seem, so did she. The family has apparently agreed to visitation for Ms. Bondi and Master Tank. If I recall correctly Ms. Bondi did not do likewise when the shoe was on the other foot and the family had to have a Judge order her to do so. Truth is she hung on to this dog for one year and 8 months knowing it belonged to another family and children who also loved him. She is shameful but would now have the public believe she has a heart. Ms. Bondi is a narrcisist and needs to spend her money on a good psychiatrist.
