Captain America, Dead At 89
Steve Rogers, a fine-arts student turned super-soldier who fought America’s enemies for more than six decades as Captain America, was assassinated while entering the U.S. Federal Court in New York City. He was 89......here

It's hard for me to beleive they would kill off such an iconic character like Captain America. Some serious symbolism there. It looks like the Punisher may take up the mantle though.

I like the Punisher, but I think evorgleb is correct.

Seems rather symbolic that Cap's being killed in New York, outside a court. Been meaning to say something else about this myself, because I'm surprised my blogging core hasn't.
