I visited Tampa recently seaching for Boniatillo, a sweet delicacy made with sweet potatoes. I finally found it in a Hispanic Market. Although it is not as good as the one my abuela used to make at home, it is a fair susbstitute. It is made in the Dominican Republic.
Nearby is Teresita Cafeteria. Great Cuban food at unbeatable prices. Here is what I had: breaded steak, yellow rice, yuca, Cuban bread with butter. $5.85.
