Hillsborough County Finds Money For Mass Transit

Hillsborough County collected a record 

$2 million 

in tourism development taxes just in June.

 The bump in travelers who stayed in Hillsborough County 

hotels is up 44 percent.

 Hillsborough County
has collected just over
$23 million
 in bed-tax revenue for the fiscal year that ends Sept. 30.
