The Atlantic has a terrifying new article about Mark Milley, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who for his entire 18 months under Trump worried about our nuclear arsenal every day.
You see, Milley worked under unprecedented pressure because — according to James Dubik, a retired three-star general and former colleague of Milley’s — “For more than 200 years, the assumption in this country was that we would have a stable person as president.”
The assumption didn’t hold true for Trump, presenting Milley “unique challenges” that didn’t end until January 20th of 2001.
