I lived on Treasure Island for a calendar year -- January to December, 1992 -- which was the only time I ever lived outside Tejas. I married a Cuban whose aunt was married to a man named Quintero (yes, them Quinteros). And we've spent a little time wandering around in Ybor, as well. Great history.
