Maas BrothersWas a leading Tampa, Florida, department store founded by Abe and Isaac Maas in 1886. It grew from a small 23' by 90' store to a chain of 39 stores across the state of Florida. The Maas Brothers brand went defunct in 1991 when it was consolidated into the Burdines department store chain.

Thanks for the post about Maas Brothers. My parents shopped there as did I and my children. It broke my heart when it closed. The store was almost like family..we knew all the clerks. And the restaurant was so nice. Ah, memories.
