Asher is back!

Hello friends,

I would like to apologize for not writing on this blog for sometime. The life of an elected official who works full time with other responsibilities can weigh heavy. Still, I hope to write for the Stogie a bit more frequently nowadays.

I encourage each of you to look into a few candidates for office who are running this year. First is Nina Turner, a tried and true blue progressive who has been a state senator and the head of Our Revolution. She is running for the House of Representatives in Ohio’s 11th Congressional District and deserves your support!

Running for Mayor of Cleveland, Ohio is former Congressman and presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich, who has been a stalwart progressive for sometime now, and deserves a look as he re-enters local politics. He was Mayor of Cleveland before, and stopped the City from selling off its electric utility.

Aside from Ohio, consider the implications of the pending results from the NYC Democratic Mayoral primary election, wherein my personal top two preferences. Andrew Yang and Maya Wiley, are in the top four slots for serious contention. It will be an interesting result as the ranked choice voting system declared the victor.

Stay groovy,

Asher
