When Will We Be Recycled, Momma?

Stephanie Armenia a mother of two and passionate about how she'll leave the world to her children. Wrote a brilliant children's book called When Will We Be Recycled, Momma? Stephanie's goal is to gift the book to all second graders in Hillsborough County by Earth Day on April 22nd.

After blasting off her recycling campaign in Tampa, her dream is to have at least one school in every state receive books in time for National Recycling Week in November. Each second grader who receives a copy would take a vow to recycle.

What Health Care Benefit Will Florida Cut Next?

Earlier this week Florida insurance commissioner Kevin McCarty announced that he was returning $1 million in federal grant money awarded to the state to help hold insurance companies accountable and make sure that the health care plans offered under health care reform (the Affordable Care Act) would be affordable for Florida families. Governor Scott also stated that he was not going to spend his time implementing the new law and hoped that it would be repealed or ruled unconstitutional.
