USF Gaza Solidarity Encampment
As we enter day 205 of the genocide against Palestinians, we are seeing universities from across the nation begin solidarity encampments. These encampments are student-organized in solidarity with the people of Gaza and to demand for universities to divest from companies aiding and supporting Israel in this genocide.

Ybor City bartender and skateboarder recovering from hit and run
Friends and family of a Ybor City bartender are raising money for his medical expenses after he was involved in a hit-and-run accident. Robert Kirkland, who also goes by Robby, was skateboarding to his job at Reservoir Bar in Ybor on April 13 but ended up in an ambulance, ultimately spending five days in the hospital.....Read More

UF student protestors, staff threatened with suspension, termination over protest rules
The University of Florida threatened student protestors with suspension and even banishment if they violated rules surrounding protest conduct, according to a letter sent to students.
As with other college campuses across the nation, the University of Florida has been the site of pro-Palestinian student protests.
