The Treasured Upper Tampa Bay Trail
"This is shocking and it's just plain wrong. As a Commissioner, I don't even know how selling off our public lands like the treasured Upper Tampa Bay Trail even make it on our County Commission agenda. But here it is.This Thurs, a wealthy developer wants the County Commission to sell part of the Upper Tampa Trail them. Don't let it happen. Protecting our water is a responsibility of the governor and Rick Scott failed us. He slashed departments responsible for protecting our water, gutted water monitoring, gave polluters a pass, and even repealed a law that required septic tank inspections. Now he’s running for Senate and blaming everyone but himself.
