Florida Inc. Corporate Owned And Operated

Four years ago, Florida voters overwhelmingly approved a constitutional amendment with a simple mandate: Legislators had to stop drawing absurd state congressional districts that virtually ensured the GOP would dominate in Tallahassee forever. Within weeks, GOP strategists went to work on an equally simple mission: how to get around the new law. here

GOP Voters how are you guys feeling? There is still time to order your

GOP Caught On Tape Pandering For Koch Money

Republican Senate candidate Joni Ernst and Senator Mitch McConnell — both caught on tape pandering to a room full of right-wing billionaires like Charles and David Koch.

Ernst thanks the Koch brothers, crediting them with acting as the foundation of her
political “trajectory.”

The day a measure passed to get big money out of politics was the “worst day”
of his political life.

Crickets From Pam Bondi's Office

"This is what we hear when utility companies try to cut successful conservation programs and raise our rates.  Crickets from Pam Bondi's office. Pam Bondi repeatedly looks the other way when corporations and her big contributors try to rip off Floridians. If big companies want a favor from Bondi, she takes their money then cues the crickets." here

Corruption In Hillsborough County

The federal government says Hillsborough County misused almost a million dollars in grants during its "Fight the Blight" campaign and it wants the money back. The inspector general of the Department of Housing and Urban Development released a scathing audit of the county's use of federal Community Development Block Grant money for these blighted areas. The audit shows serious problems in the department resulted in
developers being helped by almost
$1 million
 instead of low-income areas.
The audit says code enforcement cleanups like
the "Fight the Blight" programs in 2012 and 2013
were actually misusing the federal money in surrounding areas not qualifying as low-income neighborhoods. The county used the money on areas that were "industrial and commercial properties,"
"farm and vacant land" that were "planned for development" and
"new construction in residential properties.
because commissioners wanted to ensure
developers didn't have to pay
impact fees.

In Rick Scott's Florida

Rick Scott was a stranger to Floridians.
Then he spent $73 million and rode n angry voter wave to the Governor's Mansion.
For Florida, this has been a hostile takeover by the former CEO of the nation's
largest hospital chain. In three years
Scott has done more harm than any modern governor, from voting rights to privacy rights, public schools to higher education, environmental protection to health care.
One more legislative session and a $100 million re-election campaign will not undo the damage.
This is the tin man as governor, a chief executive who shows no heartfelt connection to the state, appreciation for its values
or compassion for its residents. Scott, moved to Naples just seven years before running for governor, he treats Florida like another faceless corporate acquisition to be
dismantled and repackaged.
In Scott's Florida, it is harder for citizens to vote and for the jobless to collect unemployment. It is easier for renters to be evicted and for borrowers to be charged high interest rates on short-term loans. It is harder for patients to win claims against doctors who hurt them and for consumers to get fair treatment from car dealers who deceive them. It is easier for businesses to avoid paying taxes, building roads and repairing environmental damage
