Democrats Keep Making The Same Mistakes Expecting Different Results

Resisting the Resistance
-----
In district after district, the national party is throwing its weight behind candidates who are out of step with
the national mood.
-----
“If you’re disappointed by your elected officials, grab a clipboard, get some signatures, and run for office yourself.” President Barack Obama
-----
Yet across the country, the DCCC, its allied groups, or leaders within the Democratic Party are working hard against some of these new candidates for Congress, publicly backing their more established opponents. here

Democrats Just Don’t Have a Clue

You often seem terrified of alienating voters who do not embrace you, while discounting those — such as immigrants, African Americans, LGBTQ and, yes, progressive whites — who do.
-----
You made yourselves look feckless, spineless and brainless in the process. You’d said you would not vote to fund the government until the GOP acted to save DREAMers — from deportation. Three days later, you folded like a baby stroller, accepting a deal in which Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell expressed only his “intention” to take up the legislation you want.
-----
According to Debbie Wasserman Schultz you won, “the potential for momentum.”
-----
The truth is closer to what GOP Rep. Mark Walker of North Carolina told Politico: “We gave them nothing.” For that matter, it’s even closer to what Denzel Washington said in “Malcolm X:” “You been had! You been took! You been hoodwinked!”
-----
Frankly, you could stand to be more petrified of your own base especially since the political left is having itself a moment unlike anything we’ve seen in almost 50 years. People are marching and raising money. Upstarts are running for office. The left is galvanized by a
fierce new energy.

We Are Under Attack On Facebook

For telling the truth!
The Corporate Democrats time is over. They know it. Millennials want nothing to do with their brand of politicsThey are in desperate mode right now. Trying to grasp at any thing they can to hold on to power.
-----
I would not put to much stock in what happened in Alabama. If you guys couldn't beat that disgusting human being you would really be in trouble. You can't be the anti Trump party forever.
-----
Eyes Wide Shut
Open your eyes. The Democratic party. as is, is only a token opposition to the GOP. An illusion. to make you think you actually have a choice.
Look at the facts:
You have 3 local Dems Yvonne Yolie Capin, Guido Maniscalco, and Frank Reddick in a movement to make a Trump supporter Mayor of Tampa. Ms. Capin attended his fundraiser, Victor DiMaio, former chairman of the county's Democratic Hispanic Caucus was also there.   Their future with the grassroots is surely over.
-----
Also, one way to tell where a candidate stands on the working class is to look at the venue they choose to hold their events. If you can't afford to buy a beer, beware!

#DemExit: John Morgan

Morgan said, while he would support some Democratic candidates he likes, he would not raise a dime for national groups like the Democratic National Committee. “Fuck no,” he said when asked if he would help national organizations. “That’s like pissing money down a rat hole. Read
Donna Brazile's book” here

Democratic Hispanic Caucus Welcome Florida GOP Carlos Curbelo

Please tell me about the difference in parties again
------------
When The Congressional Hispanic Caucus meets today Curbelo is expected to be accepted. Letters will go out to all Republican members of Congress who are Hispanic.
------------
Curbelo, who is up for re-election in 2018 in a Democratic leaning district in Miami, had asked to join the Democrats only Congressional Hispanic Caucus eight months ago, but said he was left wondering what happened to his application.

Dems Did Not Deserve Keith Ellison

"The Democratic Party did not deserve Congressman Keith Ellison as their chair. It's time for the left to start building outside of the party. Ciao Democrats, enjoy your Wall Street lunches."

The Wall Street wing of the Democratic party

Last week, while many Americans were sitting down for a Thanksgiving meal with family, Senate Democrats were preparing a deal with
GOP that would have given permanent tax breaks to big businesses while doing nothing for working families. here

The End Of The Florida GOP: Cubans shifting toward the Democratic Party

Cubans in the U.S. have long identified with or leaned toward the Republican Party,
even as Hispanics overall have tilted Democrat.
But the party affiliation of Cubans has undergone a shift over the past decade,

Women are Smarter and More Likely to Vote Democrat

Dems tend to be friendlier towards women,
unlike the GOP, which tries to keep women down by doing things like telling them they don’t deserve equal pay or benefits at their jobs.
Republicans blocked the Paycheck Fairness Act. They keep fighting things like mandated contraception, with some saying that women should just keep an aspirin between their knees, to say nothing of their position on abortion (even for pregnancies caused by rape or incest). So yes, women vote Democratic, because they’re smart enough to know that the Party of Old, Rich, White Men wants to keep women down. here

Allison Tant Must Go

With only six months left until the general election,
Allison Tant
is having a hard time recruiting candidates,
calling into question her ability to lead
Florida Democrats.
here
The Florida Democratic Party chairwoman assumed that position in January 2013, promising to “out-raise, out-organize, and outwork the GOP” across Florida. But it simply hasn’t happened.
