Trump Supports The Miami Cuban Mafia

Trump told supporters in Miami on Friday that if elected, he would reverse President Obama’s steps to normalize relations with Cuba. The candidate’s comments are closer in tone to the blistering prescriptions of Marco Rubio– a Cuban-American senator from Florida called El Guapo by the family. who has served as the voice of the MCM. here

Miami's Versailles Restaurant Kicks Gary Johnson Out

The manager Reinaldo said it was a misunderstanding or maybe this kind of talk is not allowed.
----------
“I applaud Obama for what he’s done,” Johnson, a former Republican, said about the president’s decision to lift some sanctions against the island. “I’m looking forward to visiting Cuba and I think it’s long overdue. Free trade is really how we bring the world together.”

El Guapo To Keep Up Fight Against U.S. Ambassador In Cuba

A year to the day after the Obama administration restored diplomatic ties with Cuba, the United States still doesn't have an ambassador officially representing it on the communist-led island. And if Marco Rubio has his way, that’s not going to change anytime soon. here

Debbie Wasserman Schultz Still Helping The MCM

Lefty, as she is called by the family is at it again. In 2008 Wasserman Schultz sabotaged and undermined Joe Garcia and Raul Martinez to help the reelection efforts of reactionary Republicans Mario and Lincoln Diaz-Balart. Mario's district had basically turned blue and when Lincoln decided to devote his energies to plotting to become president of Cuba, Mario skipped across the district to claim Lincoln's redder seat. Today he's been challenged in that seat by Alina Valdes, a physician and a dedicated progressive. And-- wouldn't you know it-- Wasserman Schultz hasn't learned her lesson and is up to her old tricks again... working against Valdes on behalf of Diaz-Balart! Outrageously, she still hasn't been removed as chair of the DNC. here

Trump Turning Miami Cuban Americans Blue

Support among Cubans in South Florida for Republicans has been slowly declining. They've chalked it up to generational change. Younger and newly arrived Cubans aren't quite as strongly Republican as the original exiles. The GOP's shift to the socially conservative positions of white evangelical voters has accelerated the trend. Then along comes
Donald Trump. here

Dear Marco Rubio

Rubio called Obama’s historic trip to Cuba “one of the most disgraceful trips ever taken by a U.S. president anywhere in the world.”
----------
"Mr. Rubio, we have tried it your way for over 50 years. All it has done is make the Cuban people suffer. The change you were looking for did not happen. It should be up to the Cubans on the island to decide how they want to be  governed not the deserters in Miami. Dialogue over Isolation works everytime.
Now we have a chance to show them what Democracy looks like." YCS

The Family Reacts To Obama's Planned Visit To Cuba

"I won't visit Cuba as president if
it isn't a free Cuba" Marco Rubio

"It is absolutely shameful that Obama is rewarding the Castros with a
visit to Cuba." Ileana Ros-Lehtinen

"Regrettably, President Obama's planned travel to Cuba is hardly a surprise. Instead, it is the latest addition to the litany of concessions to dictators."
Mario Diaz-Balart

After 50 Years Miami Cubans Finally Figure It Out

Earlier this month, nearly a year to the day President Barack Obama shocked Cuban Americans with the news that the U.S. would reestablish relations with the Castro regime
----------
A group of Cuban-American business people, almost all from Miami, quietly traveled to the island to see for themselves what, if anything, had changed. Most of the 10 men — even a couple of otherwise  staunch conservatives — returned convinced
that stronger ties to the U.S. would help Cubans. here

Marco Rubio Blames American People For Immigration Reform Failure

During the December 15 Republican presidential debate, Sen. Marco Rubio again backed away from his support of comprehensive immigration reform in 2013, saying his opinion changed with that of the American people. However, polling data suggests that Americans consistently favored comprehensive immigration reform, the Republican Party sabotaged immigration reform, and Rubio faced extreme backlash from right-wing media causing him to change his position. here
------------
"He should start with Cuban immigration reform, people from other places
(Central America, Middle East) are a lot worst off then those fleeing Cuba,
yet Cubans get a free pass." YCS

Cuban Spies In Ybor City

Everybody wants the Cuban consulate established in Ybor City. Much of the Tampa Bay area business and political establishment and the Hillsborough Board of County Commissioners. Then along comes these two wild and crazy Hillsborough Republicans.
Danny Alvarez and E.J. Otero.
----------
Alvarez said: “I am quite sick and tired of the Tampa Chamber of Commerce and its like pushing a money-driven agenda veiled in false promises of freedom for the Cuban people. It’s amazing how blind one can become after a few mojito-laced walks through Ol’ Havana on “fact-finding” missions guided
by a government handler.”
And then Otero makes a fool of himself with this:
"If a Cuban consulate was established in Ybor City, potential spies for the Cuban government could end residing just four miles away from
Mac Dill Air Force Base." here
Mr. Otero you gotta lay off those John Grisham novels!
Maybe we should make them members of the

Tampa To Lose Cuban Consulate Because Of Bob Bucknorn

The Hillsborough County Commission on Wednesday became the latest local agency to support the push to have a Cuban consulate in Tampa. “We’ve been told from our sources in Washington D.C. that, if we truly want to be considered for the consulate, we must speak with one voice,” said Bob Rohrlack, President and CEO of The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce. here

Please note: They might be a little late. Because of Buckhorn's ties to the MCM Tampa has already been  rejected. here

Ybor City May Lose Cuban Consulate To St. Pete

Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn's lack of vision and ties to Frado of the MCM may have cost Ybor City their Cuban Consulate office.  According to St. Pete  City Council Chairman Charlie Gerdes "A couple of other Florida cities have been outright rejected." Alluding to Tampa and Miami.
----------
Gerdes didn't elaborate on his remarks, saying he didn't want to betray the confidence of the Cuban foreign ministry official who told him which Florida cities were out of the running. here

Vows to roll back Obama's efforts to normalize relations once he is in the White House.

routes to Cuba.

Ileana (La Senora) Ros-Lehtinen
Has slammed normalization with Cuba as a "propaganda coup for the Castro brothers.

Mel (El Jefe) Martinez
Has blasted the president's decision to normalize relations.

Tampa Mayor Supports The MCM

Tampa mayor Bob Buckhorn is in no hurry to court Cuba. He has taken the position of the Uber- Right Wing "Miami Cuban Mafia". His aloofness is at odds with most in Tampa, from the business chamber to other elected officials, many of whom have visited Cuba already and have been actively pushing for better relations with Havana. Could it be that Buckhorn's antipathy is calculated for a speculated run for governor in 2018, where he would appeal more to South Florida's Cuban exiles? I am sure he knows that polls show a majority of Cuban-Americans say the U.S. should end its embargo of Cuba.

On the other side of the pond the great mayor of St. Pete Rick Kriseman is a player. He didn't hide his glee earlier this week when the United States and Cuba reopened their long-closed embassies. "This can only mean great things for the Sunshine City and the Tampa Bay area," Kriseman said on Twitter and Facebook, where he repeated his intent to visit Cuba. He even wants to steal the Cuban consulate office from Ybor City. here

Miami Cuban Mafia Trying To Stop Obama's Cuba Normalization

President Obama’s announcement last week that the U.S. will restore diplomatic relations with communist Cuba on July 20 – and will open an embassy there a few days after – is angering the MCM. Their options to stop the Administration are limited. But they’re moving against Obama’s new engagement policy nonetheless, and it’s shaping up as one of the summer’s big political battles. here

No Love For Rubio In Cuba

"He wants to kill us!"
 Alain Marcelo

"If Marco Rubio becomes president, we're done for. He's against Cuba in every possible way. Hillary Clinton understands much more the case of Cuba. Rubio and these Republicans, they are
still stuck in 1959."
Héctor Montiel

United States and Cuba Will Open Embassies: MCM Speaks Out

“Nothing short of a miscarriage of justice borne out of political motivations not rooted in reality.”
Ileana Ros-Lehtinen

“Sends a chilling message to our enemies abroad  that this White House is no longer serious about calling terrorism by its proper name.”
Marco Rubio
