The Beaches coming to WMNF
WMNF is thrilled to be hosting The Beaches in the Mike Eisenstadt Live Performance Studio during Live Music Showcase. Tune in to 88.5FM, WMNF.org, and the WMNF App at 2pm EST on Friday, March 18th to hear The Beaches before they play live with the likes of Wolf Alice, Jimmy Eat World, and Green Day at the Innings Festival this Saturday at the Raymond James Stadium grounds. With live renditions of their discography woven through insightful conversations, Host Ken Apperson will be leading the exchange, while Head Engineer and Producer Mark Perfetti with the LMS Crew will be making sure it comes through crystal clear, however you're listening!

Commercialize WMNF - Tampa
Two Worlds Indigenous Radio Program was forced off of the air; Urban Cafe (Black/Latino Talk) successful show, was cancelled; Sunday morning Black Talk was broken up and replaced with white folk/ballad music; they took out the only Latino show playing during the day. Right now there are only two daytime Black shows, out of 39- Sonday through Saturday. And, that is only part of the harmful changes that are being implemented; the stated goal is totally destructive; their aim is to commercialize WMNF and to get rid of "diversity" and "peace and social justice" as principles in our mission.
