Fake Florida Dem Alert: Randy Perkins

The millionaire is expected to spend more than $1 million to win U.S. Rep. Patrick Murphy's open seat as a Democrat,  He was registered to vote with no party affiliation for 21 years and became a Democrat days before he filed to run for District 18this month. An analysis of $925,300 donated by him  since 2002 to federal and Florida candidates, as well as political committees, show 70 percent went to Republicans. That includes Gov. Rick Scott, whose political committee in 2010 received $100,000. here

Beware: Florida GOP Posing As Dems

Besides Patrick Murphy,
Milagro Canizares
is the latest Democrat (DINO).
She is seeking the District 9 seat on the Broward County Commission.
She is actually a registered Republican living in Palm Beach County.

Canizares gave an Boynton Beach address. Voter databases show Canizares is a registered Republican in Miami-Dade County. Despite signing a legal document on June 25, 2015 claiming to be a Democrat, Canizares admitted she is still a registered Republican. “I will take care of it next week, I am looking for a job right now.” Canizares said. here

THE PAYDAY LENDING INDUSTRY HAS BOUGHT FLORIDA’S POLITICAL ESTABLISHMENT

Of the $2,556,457 given to Florida politicians and political parties by payday lenders since 2009, more than one-third of the money ($970,050) came from members of the Florida-based MacKechnie family and their payday lending company, Amscot Financial. Amscot was founded in 1986 to provide borrowers a bank-like alternative to a liquor store or pawn shop, said company founder
Ian MacKechnie.

The company has 239 locations across Florida, focusing in areas where banking options are slim. In 1998 Amscot Financial plead guilty to civil racketeering charges and as part of the plea agreement stemming from these charges, the company’s founder, Ian MacKechnie, Sr., was banned for life from selling auto insurance in Florida.

How Payday Lenders Invested In Florida INC.

Payday lenders have donated about $2.5 million to Florida politicians and both political parties in recent years, according to a new analysis by a liberal group.
The group gave the Miami Herald an advanced copy of its new report, “A Florida Plan: How payday lenders bought Florida’s political establishment.” The report lists donations given to federal and state candidates as well as the state’s Republican and Democratic parties since 2009.
Overall, Republicans received $1.6 million and Democrats received about $890,000, while $29,000 went to independents. But the top individual recipients were South Florida Democrats:
▪ U.S. Rep. Alcee Hastings of Delray Beach: $110,700;
▪ Former U.S. Rep Kendrick Meek, who ran for the U.S. Senate in 2010: $72,800;
▪ U.S. Rep. Patrick Murphy of Jupiter, who is running for the Senate: $51,000;
▪ Wasserman Schultz of Weston: $50,600.
The Republican Party of Florida received $1,083,447, and the Florida Democratic Party received about $366,500.

Gwen Graham And The Men

With a threadbare resumé of public service and a record of voting for big business and against the environment, Gwen Graham has resorted to shouting that “it’s time” Florida elected a female governor. She has reminded audiences at every campaign stop that she is a woman and her three announced primary opponents are male.
-----
 The Graham staffer that concocted the “Gwen and the Men” slogan should never see another dawn as a paid political operative.
-----
When Graham appeared with her primary opponents—Andrew Gillum, Chris King, and Phil Levine—at the Hillsborough Democratic Party’s Spring Fling last week, the main thrust of her brief remarks was that she is, indeed, a woman. The other candidates discussed issues, policy, and political philosophy. Voters far prefer candidates that can be counted on to follow through on campaign promises and represent their interests regardless of gender. On this most important criterion, Graham, who is a woman, gets an F minus.
-----
Residents in Florida’s Big Bend, for example, feel they were hoodwinked by Graham, a female, during her two-year stint as a backbencher in the U. S. House of Representatives. Her voting record was an abomination to the Democrats that turned out in droves for her in a purple district. Graham, a biped with a vagina, voted with the Republicans and against the Florida Democratic delegation on key issues an amazing 43 percent of the time during the only one terms she served. Ironically, the only other Florida Democrat out of sync with his party’s values, former Congressman Patrick Murphy, is contemplating a late run for the governorship. He failed in bis challenge to the vulnerable Sen. Marco Rubio in 2016 because progressive Democrats refused to vote for essentially another Republican in the general election.
-----
My Democratic contacts in Leon County, the portion of the Congressional district that voted heavily for Graham in her lone Congressional race, regret her tenure. No one I spoke with would ever again vote for Graham, a distaff personage.
-----
For two decades Florida Democrats have continued to employ the failed strategy of a hard pivot to the right. Democratic candidates in Florida need to represent progressives or they have no chance in the general election. It will take far more than tapping into gender preferences or Phil Levine’s personal fortune to prevail in a statewide race.
