What really happened

It appears that this situation wasn't because of a "fight" started between a group of "unruly" black kids - the fight actually started when a white couple came into an ongoing party of classmates and kids who all lived in the area to verbally abuse them
with racial slurs

and slapped the teenage girl who hosted the party

after she tried to defend a 14-year-old white girl who was also at the party and had stood up to them. Then those people left and called the police on the party claiming the black kids were fighting each other. here

Kathy Castor, has given Hillsborough County a not-so-subtle nudge to get moving on the proposed ferry service that would link MacDill Air Force Base with the southeastern part of the county. Instead, we put up a lifelong Republican (Charlie Crist) who’d just changed parties. Once you have your dedicated Democrat voting, they will vote for ALL the Democrats all the way down the ballot.
Put up corporate Democrats all you want. Keep giving us lifelong Republicans to vote for. We’ll keep rejecting them. Let us know when you’re ready to win some elections with some real true blue Democrats and we’ll be right there behind you.
