EVENT: Wear Orange for Gun Violence Awareness

Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park

Saturday, June 3, 2023
6:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Join us on National Gun Violence Awareness Day as we watch our beautiful city of Tampa light up in ORANGE in honor of the 120 Americans who are killed by guns and hundreds wounded every day. We will hear from survivors of gun violence including community partners who are doing the hard work everyday. We will have local art on display.

Wear an orange shirt and bring a sign and a picture of your loved one if you are a gun violence survivor. We will embark on a short Peace Walk down the Riverfront at 7pm.

*This is a family friendly event, and we will have activities for children available.
