We are back to recap the GOP Debate that just happened last night, and today we are joined by Heidi Briones and Melik Abdul. We'll go over the key points from the debate, as well as go into the recent comments Cornel West made on his taxes when talking with Tim Black.
We'll also be covering the recent actions from Climate Defiance to disrupt a millionaire/billionaire Democrat fundraising event, only to be told that these Democrat donors "Don't Care if You Die".

Broadband subsidy program that millions use will expire next year if Congress doesn’t act
The Affordable Connectivity Program has not reached everyone who is eligible. According to an Associated Press analysis of enrollment and census data, less than than 40% of eligible households have utilized the program, which provides monthly subsidies of $30, and in some cases, up to $75, to help pay for internet connections.
But the program's future is uncertain. Its primary source of funding, a $14.2 billion allocation, is projected to run out by the middle of 2024. That could end access to affordable broadband for millions of people and hinder the Biden administration’s push to bring connectivity to the people who need it most.

Trump co-defendant denied bond, held in jail
One of the defendants in the Georgia election fraud racketeering case was denied bail on Friday and will now remain at the Fulton County Jail pending further proceedings.
Harrison Floyd, the leader of Black Voices for Trump and the only Black defendant in the case, was deemed a flight risk by a state judge after turning himself in Thursday morning.

Lake County lawmakers decry ‘virtue signaling’ as Mount Dora joins ‘Safe Place Program’
Nearby law enforcement agencies in Orlando and Orange and Osceola counties have joined the same program.
Mount Dora Police Department is on tap to become the 377th law enforcement agency engaged in a “Safe Place Program” — but the Lake County legislative delegation is urging the city to turn back now before it makes the city unsafe.

Prevention program looks to address student, family homelessness in Hillsborough County
Pathways to Hope is funded by the Children’s Board of Hillsborough County and run by Metropolitan Ministries in partnership with Hillsborough County Schools and the Hispanic Services Council.
The new prevention program provides support to families who are experiencing economic instability and housing insecurity.

As Tampa’s homeless sweltered, city ‘cooling centers’ went mostly unused
“I’m going to die out here,” one woman said. “I’ll be 60 in October but I don’t think I’m going to make it.”
In response to the excessive heat warning and heat advisories, the city opened three centers last Thursday, offering light snacks and water throughout the weekend, eight hours per day for one week. But they haven’t attracted much traffic.

Parkland survivor, advocate David Hogg launches PAC
"Leaders We Deserve is a grassroots organization dedicated to helping elect more young people, not only to places like (Congress), but especially to state legislatures in places like Florida, Texas, North Carolina and others where young people are under attack a lot of the time," Hogg said.
The PAC will focus on supporting “progressive candidates who are 30 years old and under for State Legislature, and 35 years old and under for Congress."
