Today i enter a new item in Stogie's bucket list. Ending the embargo on the Cuban people. We owe it to the two generations who stayed and have endured. It has been almost 50 years now, and nothing has changed. The old ways of The Miami Cuban Mafia do not work. This generation is old and passing away. It's time for Cuban-Americans everywhere to say enough is enough. Also consider this:
"It's time to stop talking solely in terms of what's best for the Cuban people. How about the wishes of the American people, who are consistently in favor of diplomacy with Cuba? Let's stop the hysterics about the freedom of Cubans – which is not our government's responsibility – and consider freedom of the American people, which is.".....Ron Paul
Fidel Castro had great plans for Cuba, and then he became a tyrant. Just imagine, being able to visit and teach them about Democracy and Freedom. Imagine the Possibilities.
Back in November, we were very disappointed to learn that Kodak had pulled its ads from airing during Teen Nick's popular series, DeGrassi: The Next Generation. At the time, we heard that Kodak has received a slew of emails from the Florida Family Association (FFA) for supporting a show that "targets teens with gay propaganda and other immoral behavior." The FFA seems to really have it out for the show because there's not only gay characters, but a transgender one as well. here "How many high schools have a gay first-string quarterback who becomes lovers with someone else on the team? This relationship is extremely unlikely and they shouldn’t open this to dialogue, and I think that it is statistically improbable that you will have a female-to-male transgender who is in love with a lesbian or bisexual in a school setting.".......David Caton
The Tampa Bay Rays: A Bunch Of Gutless, Politically Correct Ninnies So, the Tampa Bay Rays wanted to pay homage to the rich heritage of organized baseball in their region by wearing the jerseys of the 1951 Tampa Smokers, a minor league team which played in the fair city many moons ago, for a July 2nd game. There was only one problem: the jersey featured a cigar emblazoned on the front of it. In a typical, knee-jerk, gutless reaction motivated by political correctness, the Rays made the decision to remove the cigar from the jersey to prevent the 4,000 Rays fans likely to be in attendance the psychological trauma and possible suggestive nature of seeing an image of a nondescript tobacco product. Won’t somebody think of the children? here
For the first time since marijuana was effectively outlawed by the federal government in 1937, we have a chance to make marijuana legal at the federal level. Rep. Barney Frank's new bill would end federal marijuana prohibition, making marijuana legal for adults and allowing states to decide their own marijuana laws, just like they can with alcohol and tobacco.

Organizers of this year's GaYBOR Days have received a proclamation from Mayor Bob Buckhorn. Even President Barack Obama's office has sent one. But it doesn't look like Hillsborough County Commissioners will send one after five of the commissioners declined to sign a proclamation for this year's 4-day festival. Earlier this month, Terry (#1 Bigot) Kemple, who is a member of the county's Human Relations Board, sent an email to all the commissioners warning them that signing such a proclamation would violate county policy.
Kevin Beckner, along with Commissioner Les Miller, are the only board members to have signed a proclamation for this year's GaYBOR Days.
The five commissioners who did not sign this year's proclamation are Republicans Sandy Murman, Victor Crist, Al Higginbotham, Ken Hagan and Mark Sharpe. more What Happens When You Don't Vote!
Republican county commissioners approved new Hillsborough voting districts tonight that could ensure their continued dominance on the board, while disappointing Hispanics who wanted a district that would increase their chances of winning a commission seat. The disgusting Sandra Murman never spoke a word on behalf of her map. She left that job to her minion Commissioner Mark Sharpe. Blue Dog Democrat Les Miller joined the five Republican commissioners. Kevin Beckner cast the only no vote. here What Happens When You Don't Vote.

Thought I'd Seen It All A bait car is a vehicle owned by the police and is intended to be stolen. After a bait car is stolen, the location, speed, and direction of travel of the vehicle is monitored by police dispatchers at E-Comm through GPS tracking. Everything that takes place inside the bait car is caught on audio and video. The dispatcher will coordinate a police response and once officers are in position behind the bait car, the engine will be disabled at the click of a mouse button which allows for the quick arrest of the car thieves. here
