Spill Drifting Toward Florida's West Coast
West Florida Continental Shelf forecast of surface trajectories for Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill. An arm of the oil slick appears to have exited the Loop Current and is drifting eastward aided by onshore winds. By June 3, oil is predicted to be 120 miles off the coast of Tampa Bay and Florida's west coast.

St. Petersburg Cracking Down on Street Soliicitations
St. Petersburg has been nationally known for aggressive tactics against the homeless. Those acts included destroying the tents of homeless people. St. Petersburg is making an attempt to ban solicitations on road mediums. Panhandlers will not be the only people punished. Newspaper venders, charities and firefighers will be effected by the ban.......here

Gulf Oil Spill Hits Florida Coast
It is now confirmed that the oil spill from the Deepwater Horizon oil rig is approaching the coast of Florida near Pensacola. It is around 10-15 miles away from the famous sugar white beaches. The oil is carried by winds and it is flowing towards Florida with thousands of tar balls......here

Oil Slick Closing In on Florida Beaches
Forecasters said the oil would probably wash up on Florida's coast by Friday. The edge of the slick drifted within seven miles of Pensacola's beaches on Wednesday........here

Road Trip to Ybor City
Insanity can be defined as doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results. Roxanne and I love photography, but lately we’ve been visiting a lot of the same areas. We are trying different techniques, but felt we needed to visit a place that was the polar opposite of the places we’d be shooting to get some inspiration and a change of pace. Therefore we decided to take a road trip to Ybor City.
