Kelly Benjamin Responds To Times Pick In District 6

Dear Times Editorial Board,
I can’t help but feel you’ve made a colossal mistake in your choice for the next Tampa City Councilmember in District 6 but everyone’s entitled to their own opinion and I won’t hold it against you. However, one thing struck me in your endorsement:

“Benjamin is unable to make a convincing argument for succeeding Miranda.”

Mayor Dave For Our Wonderful City Of Tampa

Dave's Imaginary Mayoral Platform
info

A Stogie Favorite, "Free bicycles for all. Working with various advocacy and charitable groups across the city I will establish a non-profit that focuses on giving bicycles to everyone.
The best way to reduce bicycle fatalities in Tampa is to
make them so common-place that it becomes second-nature for drivers to look out for cyclists."
I can't wait to see that...

A Case For My Favorite Beer

Yuengling
Besides being delicious, it is brewed here in Tampa. I bet those workers appreciate us drinking their beer. Anheuser-Busch dosn't brew beer here anymore. They are not even owned by an American company.

You are sending your money to Belgian and Brazil.
Yuengling is the oldest operating brewing company in the United States.

"It has been my experience that the motorists are very aggressive and there is generally disrespect of bicyclists by motorists, What's sad is there is nothing inherently dangerous about riding a bicycle.
The mere act of riding a bicycle shouldn't cost you your life.
Unfortunately that is the case in the Tampa Bay area."......Alan Snel

Re-Discovering West Tampa
Turanchik took note of West Tampa during his failed bid to bring the 2012 Olympic Games to Tampa. In 2000 and 2001 Turanchik–a former county commissioner–and a group of supporters lobbied to bring the games to Tampa Bay, scouting possible event locations. Part of the plan called for an Olympic Village to be constructed on North Boulevard. That’s when West Tampa caught his eye. “It just has good bones,” he says of the 110-year old community.

Dick Greco's Panty Raid

Stop Greco!
"I was there when we had problem in 1967, walked the streets with racial unrest. But this is a very friendly, very loving city. Even back during the riots, if somebody wanted to hurt somebody, they could have. They didn't. It was more like a panty-raid type thing. I was there, I was on the street."......Dick Greco

"Dick just said the first time he was mayor, he made HCC take the land to stop "them" from building more low housing projects like they did on Nuccio. Ybor is a jewel. Seriously blacks in Tampa this man keeps telling us to kiss his ass. And we have some dumb asses supporting this man.".....Ella K. Coffee
