Alex Sink Is No Progressive
"Like all Floridians, I'm grateful for our constitutional right to freedom of religion... When it comes to what to build close to the hallowed site of Ground Zero, I think it ought to be up to the people of New York City to decide. It is my personal opinion that the wishes of the 9/11 families and friends must be respected. They are opposed to this project and I share their view."......Alex Sink

"The Bill of Rights doesn't mean we get to pick and choose who is protected under the Constitution. Sink is running for the most power office in Florida. She should be mindful that our laws protect everyone.".....Michael Hussey

The Evolution Of Tampa’s Franklin Street
Tampa’s Doorstep
The city’s first electric lights lined Franklin by 1887. It was the first in the city to be paved, the first to have sidewalks. The city’s first brick building, the Bank of Tampa, was built on Franklin in 1886. In 1885, Tampa’s first streetcar, a steam-powered contraption with passenger cars similar to a freight train’s, rambled up a sand-covered Franklin on a narrow track to a nascent Ybor City. By 1900, electric streetcars traveled up and down the street on 21 miles of track connecting downtown to Ybor, West Tampa, Sulphur Springs and Ballast Point.

Robert Gibbs And Howard Dean
On November 7, 2003, a strange new group no one had ever heard of called "Americans for Jobs & Healthcare" was quietly formed and soon thereafter began running a million dollar operation including political ads against then-frontrunner Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean.

Michael E. Arth Interviews Rick Scott
Okay, I admit that the term “interview” is an exaggeration. Rather than focusing on past sins or scandals, which you will also read about here, the most outrageous facts concern our political system, and how something far worse than individual malfeasance threatens the very foundations of our democracy.

Howard Dean/Alan Grayson 2012
"Rahm Emanuel has made a career bashing progressives and supporting conservative Democrats.
The Gibbs outburst was just a public display of how the White House feels about the progressives that helped put them in power. That is why I firmly support progressive Democrats running against Obama in 2012. I would support Grayson or Howard Dean over Obama in a heart beat.".......Michael Hussey
