Don't Say Gay In Florida!
The Florida Senate Education Committee passed a controversial bill on Tuesday that would bar school districts from encouraging classroom discussion about sexual orientation or gender identity. The Parental Rights in Education bill, commonly referred to the "Don't Say Gay" bill by its critics, would apply to such topics in primary grade levels, as well as in cases where the discussions are deemed "not age-appropriate." here

BVM - East Tampa Canvass
The Social Justice Committee, a joint committee with our caucus and the Hillsborough County Democratic Black Caucus, are hosting a canvass on Saturday, February 19th from 2-4 p.m. We need volunteers! Please join us to canvass East Tampa for a couple of hours to welcome Democrats who have recently moved to the East Tampa area. This should be a fun time and is only a couple of hours of commitment.
