Florida Voters Remember the Jeb Gov Disaster
Only 7% Say They Would Vote For Him
Jeb Bush’s campaign has been in trouble since its start and for good reason. In fact, Jeb’s poor polling with Floridians, his former constituents, may be the best proof that voters who have had the Jeb experience don’t want it again. here

MPO Board Meeting: Stop TBX
Highlights
The place was packed. They had to use the overflow room. Over 30 people asked to speak. They cut the time from 3 minutes to 1 minute because the board didn't want to be out all night. Everyone spoke against it, except one old guy who is getting paid or doesn't care about the future of his children. Lisa Montelione was late. Speakers kept giving others their minutes.
And the highlight of the night was when a speaker asked the crowd to stand if they were against it, and the entire audience rose to its feet, applauding wildly.

- We don’t appreciate our concerns being ignored and voted against at the Aug. 4 MPO board meeting!
- We want TBX stopped and removed from the TIP.
- They should be vigorously fighting for and defending their constituents, who are being asked to give up so much for zero benefit.
- Tell them how you feel- be there, and bring 5 friends with you!
Florida GOP Failures Costing Taxpayers Over $1M
In the course of just seven months, the budget fell apart and the House and the Senate fell short of agreement on redrawing congressional and Senate districts. In total, the cost to taxpayers of repeated special sessions this year is likely to exceed $1 million. here
Flip-Flopper Al Higginbotham
As a candidate for the Hillsborough County Commission last year, Republican Al Higginbotham promised to support a sales tax for transportation projects if it was approved by a city-county board called the Policy Leadership Group.
----------
The leadership group voted 8-3 to recommend that the county commission put a half-cent-per-dollar sales tax on the November 2016 ballot. Higginbotham voted against the measure. More importantly, Higginbotham said he will vote against holding the referendum when the commission makes a final decision in December
— an apparent flip-flop. here

Ybor City Will Get The Last Laugh
Corporate Welfare whore Ben Affleck's decision to build a fake Ybor City up the road might cost us in the short term.
Business lost at hotels, bars, restaurants, temporary jobs. After all everything is fake in Hollywood, right? But in the long term, if he sticks with the story, our little haven will be on the big screen. Want to talk about it?

Write The FWC: No More Black Bear Slaughters
Florida's bear hunt – authorized and championed by Gov. Scott's Fish and Wildlife Commission (FWC) - was a dark day in the history of our state.
----------
Gov. Rick Scott’s Fish and Wildlife Commission (FWC) just completed their cruel and widely condemned Florida black bear hunt, and it was an unmitigated disaster. They were forced to end the hunt early after the state’s quota of 320 bears was nearly met in just two days. In the eastern Panhandle nearly triple the state’s quota of bears for that region were killed.
These numbers don’t even account for the orphaned bear cubs that will be unable to survive without their mothers, or the injured bears left to die in the forest, or any illegally killed undersized bears that went unreported. Unbelievably, despite this horrific debacle, Gov. Scott’s Fish and Wildlife Commission is already planning the next black bear bloodbath. Email the Fish and Wildlife Commission and demand they call off future Florida black bear hunts. here

Want A Bigger Penis? The Tea Party Can Help

Why Black Guys Are So Much Better Endowed Than White Guys.
Ever wonder why black guys are so much better hung than white guys? One researcher did – and what he discovered is shocking
It turns out there’s a very simple reason why black guys seem to be so “blessed” down there… But it’s not genetics.
Instead, it’s actually 100% due to the foods they eat from a very young age. And if you think that sounds crazy…
Inside, you’ll see the scientific proof that literally ANY man can still add additional length and strength without pumps, creams or pills. Plus, you’ll also be given the specific ethnic foods that I guarantee you hardly ever eat… But that will make your little man grow faster than Pinocchio’s nose. Seriously: if you think this sounds like a joke, you HAVE to watch this short video now. I thought the same thing when I first heard about this… But the growth I’ve seen since I started adding in these ethnic foods is just unbelievable.
Click here to watch it now.

FPL got state approval to charge customers for more than $241 million in “advanced recovery costs” for two more nuclear reactors at the company’s aging Turkey Point plant in Miami.
Now comes news that FPL is trying to get customers to foot the bill for another expensive, dubious project — a new power plant near Lake Okeechobee that’s projected to cost a whopping $1.2-billion.
A billion here, a billion there, and we end up paying the costs every month for the rest of our lives. The price tags are so high, our children and
our grandchildren will still be paying.

The kicker is that the power plant that FPL wants to build near Lake Okeechobee is not even necessary. here
