Nothing But A Scam

Looking at our local paper 'Cellmates" i notice most of the folks in it are there for minor drug offences or for violation of probation, probably from a previous drug offence. Legalise drugs now, empty the prisons
and stop this madness.

Another ‘Awake the State’ Rally Planned

You’re not alone. Since Awake The State’s first major protest almost two months ago, Floridians have taken to the streets in a historic level of civic activism. Gov. Scott and his allies in the Legislature are hoping that despite their presiding over the most anti-middle class legislative session in Florida history, you’ll somehow just go away. It’s time to prove them wrong.

Is Everyone Taking The Blue Pill?

You take the blue pill and the story ends. You wake in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill and you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes.......Morpheus

When Did Our Democracy Die?

When did it irrevocably transform itself into a lifeless farce and absurd political theater? When did the press, labor, universities and the Democratic Party—which once made piecemeal and incremental reform possible—wither and atrophy? When did reform through electoral politics become a form of magical thinking? When did the dead hand of the corporate state become unassailable?

Florida CS/HB 1355

Think voting is too easy now? If you do, the Florida Legislature is on the case to make it much more difficult. If Republican leadership in the legislature has their way this will be Florida’s reality. A sweeping elections bill (CS/HB 1355) that is being fast-tracked through the GOP-controlled legislature would, if passed, trample democracy and impact Florida’s elections in devastating ways.

Ron Paul's take on Cuba

"If we wouldn't have had this embargo for 40 years, Castro would have been gone a long time ago, history shows you're more likely to get rid of a dictator if you undermine his support by trading with him."

Fight For Florida: "First"

Florida Mayor Blames Atheists for World’s Problems

Mayor Sonny Nobles of Live Oak
"The main point is that if people around the world truly had God in their lives, there would not be any of the things that atheists point to in order to discredit a belief in the Almighty. God is caring and loving. He is not a mean God. If people were to turn toward God and not away from Him, there would be a heaven on earth.
God bless us all."
