A Few Words From Rick Fernandez

Last week, I called out Peter Schorsch as an unscrupulous parasite after his impotent attempt to smear Lynn Hurtak . Here, we see La Gaceta has done more reporting on the relevant parties, including Ashley Brooke Bauman Janet Cruz Rifkin Janet Cruz Jane Castor ... My thought is that Schorsch used his political rag to publish a long form campaign hit piece pitched (if not authored) by Bauman. The only names missing from this cast of flawed souls are Bob Buckhorn and the Mayor's partner, Ana Cruz (the self-proclaimed first lady of Tampa). But, rest assured, they are just off stage.
The only honorable person in this whole disgusting episode is Lynn Hurtak. The rest should be ashamed of themselves.
There are significant problems with candidate Janet Cruz. Conflict of interest concerns have been raised. Temperament and judgment issues were raised during the NAACP candidate forum. No issues are more important to me, as a voter, than values and character.
On all these criteria, Cruz has fallen far short of the mark. She should have retired from politics after her state senate loss. Instead, she and her team of hapless hacks are daily destroying whatever reputation she had left. Tampa deserves far better.
Fortunately, with Lynn Hurtak on Council, we have far better. I am honored to support her.
Please share this with your friends. My reach is too limited to make a difference. Together, we can make sure voters are informed.
