Water Street Tampa’s Sunset Series includes a poetry wall, typewriter bar, and dancing

The 2nd Annual Sunset series at Water Street Tampa will feature monthly activations on May 16, June 27 and July 18. Each event takes place from 6pm-9pm. Find the area at 1001 Water Street, parking is available at 1045 E Cumberland Ave. The concept was Incepted in 2023 to encourage exploration of the neighborhood while providing entertainment and activities at every corner. Food not bombs WPB
The city accused us of being the reason the parks are full of trash and litter, so to prove them wrong we leave the park more clean than it was when we got there! We tell every person who eats during the share to throw away their waste in our trash bags and we collect every piece of litter we can find that was there before we arrived and we throw it all out! Sometimes when we’re there the trash bins are overflowing from waste the city has not picked up and we clean that up! All of this is documented every single week, so try us.

Columbia kicks the hornet’s nest with student protests over Israel-Hamas war
Columbia University administrators appear to have only inflamed student protesters against the Israel-Hamas war both on their campus and at other schools after leadership chose to have more than 100 students arrested over pro-Palestine demonstrations Friday.
Under pressure from politicians on both sides of the aisle, university President Minouche Shafik faces calls to resign as hundreds of students now occupy the center of campus in a protest calling for a cease-fire in the war and for the Biden administration to halt military aid to Israel.
