These are the important deadlines for voters in Hillsborough County
Deadline to register: October 7
Vote By Mail Request: October 24 before 5:00 PM.
Vote By Mail: Begin mailing ballots to overseas and absent military Vote By Mail requesters on Sept. 20. Begin mailing to domestic Vote By Mail requesters on Oct. 3. Voted ballots must be back in our office no later than 7 p.m. Election Day to be counted.
Early Voting: October 21 - November 3, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Election Day: November 5, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.

In Georgia, election workers will have to hand count the number of ballots cast after voting is completed. In North Carolina, some students and university staff can use their digital IDs to vote.
