Florida GOP Blatant Hypocrisy

The GOP House just passed H.R. 4138
The "ENFORCE the Law Act of 2014."
The sole purpose of the bill is to force the President and Attorney General to enforce Federal laws prohibiting states from selling marijuana for any reason. In Florida, all GOP.

Joe Newman for Congress

A Sarasota man says he has the experience necessary to earn a seat in Congress. At 101-years old, Joe Newman certainly knows a thing or two,
so the centenarian is launching a bid for the U.S. House of Representatives.
Newman is competing for Florida's 16th Congressional District;

He is fighting for Vern Buchanan's (CREWS Most Corrupt)  seat.

local Congressmembers Take Advantage Of Campaign Loopholes

One notable example is U.S. Rep. Vern Buchanan
According to federal campaign financing records, Buchanan used a campaign account to pay $232,082 since 2005 to his sister-in-law, Yvonne Buchanan, for bookkeeping services. The Longboat Key Republican also rented space from three companies owned by the candidate himself — Auto Central Services Inc., Jamatt Properties and 130 Tamiami Trail LLC. Buchanan also paid more than $110,000 in rent to his own business.......more
He is on Florida's Most Corrupt list.
Wake up Sarasota. In 2014 you do have a choice. Check out Mitch Mallett
The Dems are in on it too, Bill Nelson reimbursed himself more than $10,000 in past years. He also repaid his wife several thousand dollars in expenses.

Tampa Bay Republicans: Fuck The Poor

Hungry Americans should long remember the vote taken last week by the House to endanger the nation's food stamp program. House Republicans stripped the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program out of the farm bill, where it had been since 1973, and then passed the legislation without a single Democratic vote. House Republicans are fine with spending billions of dollars to subsidize farmers, but they refuse to adequately fund or even take up legislation for a program that provides food aid to 47 million Americans, about half of them children. Every Republican member of Congress from the Tampa Bay area should explain why feeding hungry children is less important than crop insurance for agribusiness.
here
Republican members of the House from the Tampa Bay area who voted for the stand-alone farm bill last week, Reps. Gus Bilirakis, Palm Harbor; Richard Nugent, Spring Hill; Dennis Ross, Lakeland; C.W. Bill Young, Indian Shores; and Vern Buchanan, Sarasota. Only Rep. Kathy Castor, a Democrat from Tampa, voted against the bill. I hope you remember them come election day.

Florida's Most Corrupt

Vern Buchanan
Rep. Vern Buchanan is still the chief fundraiser for House Republicans — even though his own campaign’s fundraising broke just about every law on the books.
Rep. David Rivera’s personal finances were already a legal black hole before he conspired to break campaign finance laws to prop up a candidate running in the Democratic primary for his House seat.
Cliff Stearns
When it comes to earmarking millions of taxpayer dollars for an institution that contributes to their family income, Rep. Cliff Stearns and his wife make a great team.
All republicans, what a surprise!

America: What A Country

Former Disgraced Republican South Carolina Gov. and adulter Mark Sanford on Tuesday won back his old congressional seat in a district that hasn't elected a Democrat in three decades. I am sure he is headed to the Committee on Foreign Relations.

It must be true what they say that GOP voters will vote for anybody as long as there is an R at the end of their name.
