Around here, they would simply threaten you, kill you, burn you out, or have the government take it and turn it over to private developers. And while I'm not a structural geo-engineer, I don't believe it will be long before that column collapses, probably taking the resident out when it does. Problem solved.
I guess they don't uphold eminent domain proceedings in China. Wow, they're so primitive... :-\
