The History of The Children's Home of Tampa



Established in 1892, The Children's Home has been serving the Tampa Bay area for 120 years. With humble orgins as a traditional orphanage, the organization has grown to serve nearly 13,000 children and families each year. This video tells their story.

St. Petersburg’s “First Pup”

Soon, St. Petersburg will have a new furry figurehead to make appearances at city events and official functions. Members of the public are invited to help name the city’s “First Puppy.” This “First Pup” is not just any puppy. It has a big responsibility in its future.
One day it will be a guide dog for a visually impaired individual.
