MaryJo Pezzi: An election rigged for Bush by Jeb Bush

The government of Florida tossed out thousands of African American Voters from the Registry in 2000 and also turned away thousands of African Americans from polling places. At the heart of this American political scandal was Gov. Jeb Bush and his Secretary of State in charge of counting the votes, who was also President of the George W. Bush for President campaign.

In fact, in ‪#‎Florida‬ a black person is 1000% more likely than a white person to have their vote thrown out.

Going into the 2016 elections, it is important to remember what happened in 2000 because Jeb Bush is now a candidate for President of the United States. here

Hillsborough County Commissioner's Same Old Bullshit

The County Commission wants to add a half-cent sales tax to the ballot for 2016 and they only want 25% for transit and a guaranteed 60% for road maintenance and building. It's so much more of the same. Also, despite a $100 million dollar surplus this year, the Commission won't give anything at all to transit. $10 million dollars and we could have a high speed ferry system. $30 million and we could double the budget for HART. It's time for change!
Oh yeah - the consultants now have made $1.25 million.
