We have many of these people in Ocala, also. It is shameful, I think, that in this very rich country, homeless people are essentially left to fend for themselves ... no one really cares if they die or not.
You are welcomed to invite a homeless person to stay in your home; providing him or her with temporary shelter, food, and assistance in finding a job.
