April is correct. This was a very undemocratic procedure. As a member of the HCDEC, I was denied the right to vote in that election. This is plainly a civil rights violation and cause for the National Democratic Party to look into this and possibly break it up by dissolving the current HCDEC and have it restablished by conducting new "open" elections. The current configuration of this group will not help the Democratic cause in the future.
